JetBlue and ALPA has an AIP!

Bullet points were better than i thought they would be. Glad they got average calendar day. 14 hour long call is awesome too.

How can any jb pilot not think this is more than adequate? Significant raises, scope, merger protection, 15% dc, average calendar day, profit sharing, etc.

I could never be on the nc because i just couldn’t deal with the “send it back and get me UA rates, UPS retirement and DL profit sharing!!!!!” types.

Hi, I’m earth. Have we met?

Just like every pilot group, we have our special 10%.

It's a decent deal. The guys pounding their chest on APC and worse yet, BluePilots, want DAL +10% to cover for their upcoming amendable. They are truly insane if they thought we were going to get that in Section 2.

I have been here 10 months and some horrifically bad things are "taken care of" by this AIP.

-SCOPE
-Vacation Bidding (truly an eye opening AWFUL system previously)
-1st Year Pay
-Reserve Rules
-Retirement

A lot of the folks I have spoken with and flown with don't understand the negotiating capital that could be lost by being lazy with initial scope. Its so important for those of use who have come from regionals and also have seen scope destroyed before our eyes.

I look forward to the bigger document, but for now this is a serious move in the right direction for JetBlue pilots.
