Seriously, though, I don't see what places like these have to offer. They get most of their business by conning ignorant people (like most of us before researching), that think there isn't a better deal out there. Most of these guaranteed interviews are worthless as of right now.

I can guarantee right now that if I stuck you in a flight school that got you 100 hours of ME time, you would get an interview. ANY flight school.

So if any flight school (with a ME aircraft) can you get you the experience that you need to get an interview with the airlines, you have to consider cost and value. I think most of the paid sponsor schools here, like Skymates, ATP, White Air, Ari Ben, etc... have proven themselves to provide a great deal of value to their graduates at a cost significantly lower than places like Jet-U and Golfstream.

FlyChicaga posted a while ago about a 25 yr old Gulfstream Academy graduate flying the B1900 that was hired at Continental... 757/767 out of EWR at the age of 25. How'd he get hired at Continental from Gulfstream? He knew people. I think his father was an Assistant Chief Pilot with Continental.

His Pops was also a scab, and is son is known around the ranks as "kid (scab CP's last name)."

I hear Murdoughnut saying he didn't hear much about the ill's of the Gulfstream be-an-airline-pilot scheme until he came here. Does that really surprise anyone?

Doesn't surprise me. That's one of the great things about JC: Access to those already in the industry from whom to learn from. Not sure if my last sentence there was grammatically correct, but you know what I mean. ;)

I've called them up and asked them myself, while doing research. 100% of Jet U pilots hired on with Pinnacle. If a pilot doesn't get hired with Pinnacle, he's guaranteed admittance (for free) into a Gulfstream Academy class and then fly the B1900 for 250 hours. That's your "guarantee," and in fact, they give you that in writing. So far, no one has had to do that, everyone has gotten on with Pinnacle.

No, you do not get a degree. What Jet U is: a Pinnacle specific pilot mill.

Good luck whatever you decide to choose!

I did a tour on monday,but them came across forums saying its a scam... Should I stay away or try to become the top 90 + % that gets hired.. Let us know if you have more info about JU...:)

Please do not necropost! A thread from April of this (almost last) year does not need to be resurrected!

There's archived info at the top of the fourms you can read, also do a search for JetU and you will find everyone's opinion.

Necroposting = Bad.

Not doing your research on a dump like "Jet U" = Badder.

(Last warning about necroposting before the user-be-good stick comes out)
