WOO-HOO!!!! I finally figured out how to put images within the text YEAH ME!!!! n~e~ways, anyone got any scoop on this school? I've never heard of them, they don't have any links on their webpage www.jetuniversity.com I would like to know what they mean by flying 'Large Jets', not too bad flying internationally, but within 6 months??

Sounds like EagleJet got sick of the bad rap with its name.

(Insert B.T. Barnum quote here)

thats really weird. I sent an email to that address just out of curiosity.
Interested in what your find out. All their website is is basically a picture with words. Now, if you want to work for an airline in 2 years and don't want to pay a penny, then go to the EU and work for companies like EasyJet who pay for all your training, private and up, and then you fly for them!

hmm, interesting, what do you do just sign up or what? lol what could i find more info?

That easyjet is definitely a good deal. Too bad no US airlines have that set up. I have a feeling US airlines might begin a similar type of training in years to come where a person with no flight hours can take an accelerated training course and become a first officer for an airline. No, this wouldn't be considered PFT for PFJ.

really? I called both numbers, because like they say If it's too good to be true then it is....but I am curious as to see what they have to say about flying 'large jets' 'internationally' within '6 months'

I got there voicec mail, then i called the pilot recruiting number and got someones voicemail...aw well it was worth a shot....we'll see tomorrow

is internationally considered the Bahamas? that's the only thing that I can thing of, might be another Gulfstream,Tab Express or like Doug stated earlier it might be another PFT or PFJ, but the question that I have is how can they pay you OVER $30 per hour?????? something sounds fishy......

I was thinking about this the other day. I wonder why no US airlines have programs like this set up similar to the training in other countries. I guess the Mesa program would be the closest thing, but still not quite like the big airlines overseas. Any ideas why not? Insurance?

Maybe you pay them for all training and such and a "deposit" to work there?

Then the airline goes belly up and your deposit lost?

I dont know?

Weird..

After reading this board for a couple months I have to agree with the sig I saw on someones post. "It's Doug's world, we just live in it."

America has too many kids chomping at the bits who will pay for their training to guarantee a job whereas an article I just posted about lowering commercial cert. minimums in Europe is due to lack of pilots over on the other side of the pond.
