Jeppesen Professional Logbook

Jepp sometime over the years changed their pro pilot logbook from 14 lines per page to 13 lines per page. Usually it's not a huge deal, but my electronic logbook software only populates 14 lines per page. Right now they match, but since jepp only makes the 13 line book now, the software won't match up. I've contacted LogTen Pro, but they only came up with a convoluted work around. So I'm trying to track down a 14 line logbook to start up. Any suggestions?

I ditched my paper logs a long time ago as well. Never had any questions or complaints from having an electronic logbook print out.

I've actually had interviewers compliment me on how neat and organized my log book looks.

Logbooks are so 1990s, get with the program, everything is digital now. ;)

Not sure what their work around was, but what about putting in some empty entries in the electronic one to get the pages to match?

I dunno, there's something nice about having a written version of your time. I use both, paper and flightlogg.in.

It was cool when doing flight training and going back seeing all the comments in the remarks sections on what you did that day, or the first time you took a friend up, first trip into IMC, ect ect ect. But after a few thousand hours beeking paper around just doesn't make sense. I filled my last logbook 2 years ago and haven't started a new paper log and don't plan too.

I can see how one can view it that way.

My logbook is a love story.
Someone just watched 16R

Tell me why they need to match? I have logbook pro and I still log a paper Jepessen Pro logbook. I use the software for time verification and a backup to my paper logbook. Why do you need them to match how many lines per page?

logten pro X makes a Jeppsen 14 page report. When I populate that data it matches the totals on my paper, it looks the same on my iPad.

So? I put the time in my electronic book, then copy to paper, then verify times match. If you log in paper after you've logged electronic, you can do a logbook analysis on the date range you've logged to see the totals on the paper page.

At the end of the day though, why does it need to match? I won't take my electronic logbook to an interview, just my paper. However, you could do it either way, but certainly not both.

Personal preference. Looks clean, easy way to make sure it all totals up.
