The oil pressure was no doubt sketchy because there were two dudes onboard using others' passports, and when some passenger's relative tried to call him the call rang and then went to voice mail.

Useless? Have you worked an overwater......or even overland....SAR before where there has been little to no location information, and thus an extremely large search area based on fuel endurance?

Try it sometime. You might get enlightened a bit. And maybe a tad humbled too.

The Malaysian flight COULD have turned east due to some sort confusion and flew until it ran out of fuel. It could be right next to Amelia's plane for all we know.

I'd say the JAL crew did a pretty good job considering the circumstances. And nobody knows what happened to the Malaysian aircraft yet either.
