Jackarse Jumpseaters

Doug, that was a no on the tall, thin guy.

On the hotel topic, I always put out the "Do not disturb" sign and then turn the TV on loud enough to hear from the hallway. Then I'll go out to eat, etc... I figure the combination of the TV noise and the DND sign will give folks pause about trying to access a "occupied" room.

It was in KSFO...and I did all of that!!! A very ball-sy move by somebody. I'm locking my wallet up in my flight bag from now on if I leave like that.

we always do that! lock the wallet, purse..even the laptops in our bag with combination locks..cuz i don't even trust those safe's they have in the room!

Get one of these for your rollaboard:

Works like gangbusters. If someone still wants to break in your bag, they still can, but it might dissuade small petty theft.

The TSA hates it because it supposedly resembles a hidden knife, but screw 'em.

Hahahahahahahaha!!!!!!!!

Stop wearin' the Prada and the rumots will cease! ;)

Doc Martens and a tastfully colored shirt for non-revving will get you flagged for 'a friend of dorothy' every time I guess! :)

And I guess I use my hands a lot when I talk... And I guess I did split a bottle of pinot noir with the captain in LAS and watch olympic 'ice dancing'.

Oy... No wonder!

As gay as ice dancing looks, I have to have great respect for what those people can do because if I got out there and tried to do that, I'd fall flat on my @ss and probably cause bodiliy injury to anyone within a 10' radius of me.

ice dancing aside.......

i side with Bog on the jumseating issue. I'm still new at it, but I have never been given a sneer or reprimand for introducing myself to the guys up front (even at airlines that don't require it). There have been gate agents that have told me I don't need to talk to anyone, but I go anyway...why? Because 1. it's good form. 2. it's a requirement in most situations. 3. If the captain's a cool guy, they'll put in more effort into getting you to where you need to go. 4. If they know you're there, they know there's someone to help them if they need it. They also know that the best help is located in First Class with a full belly....nuff said.....

Hey, I'm not the guy living in Brokeback, UT! ;)
Yeah...I'm thinking there's more of that in PHX than here! :D (that's out of the closet, anyway!)

Leno's joke was classic: "Big scandal at the Olympics today in figure skating...one of the men skaters tested positive for heterosexuality!"

I had a pretty extensive conversation with a cargo pilot tonight that jumpseats every week. He enlightened me about the process, so I wanted to come back and apologize before I made myself look like anymore of an ass. I guess I misunderstood why permission needed to be obtained. I thought it was more of a "yeah, I say it's okay for you to ride on my airplane" for the sake of the pilot and not the company/manifest/safety of passengers.

Just thought I would make this known since I was so eager to make my uneducated opinion known. :)

Fortaaay lashes for da looosah.

Normally I don't say much if I don't know what I'm talking about, but let it get away from me pretty bad. I have no problem admitting when I am wrong....... however frequent that might be.

Doug probably thought he was going to get one of those long "I'm outta this stinkin place" PM's from me. Har!

I wonder how many ignore lists I made...heh.

I came back tonight and saw the thread had about 1,500 views and thought oh sh', I made it now!
