Somehow I missed this thread until now. Congrats on the career change @ATN_Pilot ! I hope to build a fall back as I continue my current career path as a pilot, but I have no intentions to leave flying all together. I understand some of why you decided to leave it all, but from my limited vantage point I still can't wrap my mind entirely around why it was so awful you walked away from it all.

I suppose just because some of us want to be gear slingers at large Boeing / Airbus airline operators X Y and Z, that's not what everyone's idea of the end game is. Props to you for taking life by the balls and making life what you want it to be. I enjoy reading all your financial advice that you spread around JC, I hope to see you stick around here at JC.
