I follow WSDOT (which I highly recommend) on the socials. WSDOT said it was due to a utility issue. The accident that caused the damage to the bridge occurred in 2020. The lot was empty until just about a year ago, or less. Why did they wait for the employee lot to get busy to finally address the issue?
