Its 9 flipping degrees!

Stay warm guys, btw its fun to see you three and four stripes slip and fall doing your walk arounds, j/k. :)

LOL, been there a few times and had to fly in jeans since my pants were soaked in glycol.

PS. the quicker your APU gets shut down, the earlier you are on my list to dump the lavs. If it doesn't get shut down, it "might" not get dumped.

What you can't dump a lav with a little noise? J/K

The most terrible flying experience I've ever had was back in my chieftan days flying from eastern Washington into BFI. I was fairly new to "the company" and aircraft on TDY. At 14,000 and -25C the door pops open! Of course the slip stream kept it from flying all the way open, but I couldn't get it back shut. I tried slowing, slipping, skidding, and shear strength with no luck! It was a very uncomfortable next two hours. I thought that it was mearly an FNG mistake, but it turns out that the door assembly was broken. :o

Man that had suck...

Jeep man, go stand about 15-20 feet behind the APU on a CRJ! You always have to move around with the wind but man it feels nice and toasty. Probably gonna poison me eventually but relief is relief.

Windchill of -1F and I'm about to head out to the ramp. Fortunately I only have 4 flights but that's still 4 too many for this kinda weather.

Went to do lav service with a G4 the other day here in Wyoming. Opened the hangar door, brought out the heated water to unfreeze the cap, and the lav cart, by the time I finally opened the water cap, the blue water in the hose was froze solid (in only a matter of minutes) Wind chill Temp - 45
