It takes two things to fly; airspeed and money

Try bar tending. I had a full time job to pay bills etc... At the same time I bar tended twice a week, sometimes 3. I used that money for my flying account. A good bar could net u 400 to 500 a week! Good luck man!

I thought Dowlings program included the Commercial Instrument course. I used to instruct there and I am not aware of any graduates that didn't get all their ratings before graduating.

So now I'm in my early 30's with about 1,300TT. The problem is the older you get, the harder it is to live off low pay. I'd love to apply to all the Regionals with my buddies but until they start FO's out at 40K/yr... they can kiss my @____! I can't feed a family with 20K/yr.

I can't believe I finally get to say it!!!

You can TOTALLY say ass on JC!!
