Jersey is all right...
You find that most the guys who complain about it spend their time in a crash pad in areas surrounding Newark. And most of the guys come from...let's call it a slightly different geographic/cultural area. It's easy to feel intimidated because they're out of their comfort zone. No there isn't an Applebee's, Chili's, Starbuck's and Wallmart on every corner but much more local flavor...For instance in Elizabeth there's a nice Spanish (Spain) bar/restaurant and I also remember a cool Uruguayan breakfast-lunch cafe.
The Jersey shore is a great getaway from May through September...Again, it's a little different crowd than what one might be accustomed to in middle America, but besides that it's a great place with people going there to relax for over 100 years. Unique boardwalk businesses, great food etc....
I could go on but I gotta get a haircut..
...in the great state of NEW JERSEY.
MY HOME STATE.
...
The Jersey Shore is a great place to be in the summer -- maybe there should be a JC M&G there?! :nana2:
I served 9 months in EWR, XJT CA reserve. The one thing I miss is the controllers, always had a sense of humor and could line em up like Rockettes any day of the week.
The hilarity NEVER stops with Newark controllers. Thank Goodness you'll still be able to fly in there every once in a while eh?![]()

There are going to be at least 15, if not more, JC members that are going to be based in EWR in the great state of NEW JERSEY.

Why anyone would admit they are from Jersey is beyond me
I know . . . Newark is the only airport in America with an "S" rather than a "K" in front of the airport identifier.(SEWR)
Am I THAT transparent?Ah, you're just jealous since you're not part of the "in" crowd these days at EWR!![]()

I don't know if EWR is ready for Seggy, though. Time will tell!![]()
