I got a call from the Chief Pilot 2 weeks ago ... he said interviews were going to be conducted on July 7-9. I believe there still looking.

I just realized i never answered this... but I said "well I made a commitment to Island Air, but I also think long term HAL would provide a better career, so I would try and work with island air and give them as much notice as I could to keep the operation going." something along those lines, i may have muttered something about how flying is a small world and I wouldnt want to burn bridges.

That was my answer to a similar question years (decades) ago. Do they want ass kissing or reality? I took a shot at reality, and nearly lost the deal. If I had to do it again, right in the middle.
