Is this takeoff dangerous?

I normally turn a blind eye to the videos on youtube entitled "crazy dangerous takeoff!!!!!" or "we almost died in this one!" but this video seems pretty close to insane. Opinions? Either way, a fun one to watch, that's for sure!

Yes! But only because all electronic devices are supposed to be off and stowed in the overhead bins or tucked under the seat in front of you.

It's only dangerous when Maverick flies. That being said it looks like a perfectly normal crosswind takeoff.

That's my vote. Funny to see an aircraft as large as the 76 using wind correction!

Looks like a 767 to me. Personally, I don't like using that much crosswind correction because of how much spoileron you get, just like in the video. But, there is nothing wrong with it. The most dangerous thing I saw was the guy using an electronic device on take off.

It's really too difficult to tell just via a video out of a passenger window what the conditions were. Maybe give me a list of historical Metars, what the radar image was etc and we could make some judgement. Certainly looks intense, quite a long TO roll as well.

Looks like a normal TO roll for a heavy 767. It was a bit of shock when I got to this airplane just how much runway we could eat up.

One HEAVY takeoff for sure. Normally you will be in the air in less than :30. More than :45 and it is a hot, high and/or heavy T/O.

As for wing flex and such, never look at pod mounted engines during moderate turbulence if you are prone to panic.

I didn't see anything abnormal about the takeoff (not a 767 guy though).

I did see guys upfront working on crosswind correction (you'll see that alot on the 747, so we don't drag a pod)

The inboard and outboard ailerons were working fine, the spoilers came up (probably like my AC, when the yoke is displaced beyond a certain degree, they come up)

It was rainy and looked like gusts, so perhaps they did a potential windshear technique using max blast, increasing VR and/or rotating in the last 3000 technique.

Actually, I'd say it looked pretty good, at least as you could tell out of a 12X8 window.
