Is there just an MEI initial program at ATP?

Inverted

mmmmmm wine
I know try have add on programs and the CFI MEI CFII program. But just wondering if anyone knows about doing just an accelerated MEI there.

Call the 800 number and ask. ATP is doing alot of custom programs right now. How come you only want an MEI though? Seems very limiting.

Best bet is to call them and see if they offer anything special.

But really if you are going for an accelerated MEI initial anyways, the II and CFI-SE addons aren't a big deal and not terribly expensive. Why not pound them all out at once?

*edit....damnit loadmaster I thought you were supposed to txt me before posting to make sure I wasn't typing the same thing.

I thought maybe I could save money if I do the initial through ATP then I could grab my familiar DPE for the CFI CFII. I saw on ATPs site their MEI 2 day program is 2k but that's add on.

If you want to get your MEI as an initial then do so. Don't let anyone on here stray your mind elsewhere. You are going to spend around $210 or so an hour for a cutlass or arrow or whatever, might as well spend the extra couple of dollars and get the multi time while you're at it. Also as an MEI you can do the single engine addon in a 152 if you want to!

You could get just the MEI initial cheaper if you STUDY before. Last time I check the Seminoles are $300/hour.

None of the ATP programs allow you to show up without prior studying, or writtens complete.

Best bang for you buck is getting the II and single add on all at once.

Once again, study, study and study some more if you go the route.

hmm, why go through getting the MEI initial and not do the relatively easy single engine add on?

Man, I thought the MEI was the easiest one. The CFI-ASE and all commercial maneuvers nonsense was rough! They can pull engines on me all day long in a multi and I won't care. Just don't make me do lazy eights. :insane:

I thought the single add on was the funnest of the three. We flew the envelope Cessna designed...

I think the DPE just wanted to show off a little...
