Is there any phone numbers u call to find out like what the major airline requires for them to employ you, i mean where can i find info on this ques. i also i have went to a site that said to be hired by a major airline u have to have 4000 hours!!!!!!!!????????? I was surprised since doung got a job at delta with less than half of that many hours.....well c ya

hey, well someone told me that u can apply for a captian position, is that true, i always thought u worked ur way up, and also the site u posted is goos but i was more thinkin a site or phone number where i can find info on wat an major airline expects in their pilots to be hired...c ya

I have never heard of applying for a captain position. If they want to fill a captain position they will usually just upgrade a first officer who has experience with the airline.
