Is my girlfriend really interested in aviation or not?

Are you interrogating her on how deep her interest in aviation is? All my wife knows about aviation is who I work for....she would prefer to fly on Southwest or Delta if given the preference, and that a 747 is bigger than an RJ. Bro...most women don't care about airplanes...and why would they? Are you into womanly pursuits? All that matters is that you enjoy being around each other.

Wait, Im not trying to be offensive....um let me rephrase. Boy's and Girl's usually have different interests, that are not good or bad or have any meaning what so ever. Now there are always exceptions, but usually it works out this way and that makes it great. It has nothing to do with anything else and does not determine anything in life, but usually Boy's and Girl's have different interests when it comes to recreational hobbies.
 
To the OP; I'm sure shes indifferent about aviation. She'll love it simply because she loves you. I wouldn't try and figure out how much she likes it compared to how much you like it. because your on the high end of the scale, and shes probably in the middle. Get her going on Jetgirls.net and the forums there, she'll become to like it more and more as she understands the actual ins and outs of it all... my fiancee loves jetgirls.

Well from my own expierence, I dont like flying, but until I flew with Mshunter, I had only flown on airliner jets. I know that the first time I flew in a small airplane w/him I LOVED IT...it's such a different experience. He definietly changed my mind about flying, maybe you possibly did the same for her. Maybe, she likes spending time w/you and wants to be interested in the same things you are. Either way, I dont see it being a bad thing. :D

BTW, I agree with Hootie that USUALLY men and women have different interests. Although the line is becoming more and more blurred, moreso than when I was growing up.
 
They come around. My girlfriend can now tell the difference between a Boeing and an Airbus as the fly over the house.
