When is ATC responsible for traffic separation? Just to keep the fun going.

Other questions that may be related...
Do pilots really need to get a clearance in to class B?
If you use the flight sim a lot do you really need to get an Instrument rating?
Since the PIC has the final authority of the flight, can the PIC authorize ATC to have the make sure they dont have a midair?
YOU MUST SHOW PROOF or consider your reply invalid

They don't really need to get clearance into class B if they don't feel like it. That's just something airline pilots tell GA guys because they hate them.

Instrument ratings are for suckers. Just ask the guy I almost smacked into down in Florida tooling around at 7,500ft IMC claiming to be Clear of Clouds.

The PIC can do whatever he wants because it's "all about you". All about you is a registered trademark • cliche of the Colgan training department. Not meant to be taken literally if you work for a real airline.
