Bam, there are several clubs in your area. Get your PPL in these, it won't be $8k!

They are hangared and I personally prefer dry rates because fuel is cheaper everywhere but my home airport. In addition, there is normally free car rentals and what not tied to buying fuel at your destination. There are none of the ridiculous 3 hours/day minimum bull that FBO's do.
The "catch" is you have to put up money for the share, most of the time it is refundable when you leave.
