Good evening, everyone:

Well, I finally call and set up an interivew date with ATP 3 days after passing my PPL. However, I decide to go to ARR for interview and attend ACPP at some other place. The fun part of that is I plan to fly FBO's 152 over there if weather allow.

Anybody has any suggestion about flying a seminoles? Since I have only fly on 152 only.

Don't get discouraged when your brain turns to mush after your first hour of flight.

Remember that the Seminole is just another airplane... push forward on the yoke, the airplane goes down. Pull back on the yoke, it goes up. Pull back more and the airplane goes down again--just like the 152 you're used to.

Don't worry about the transition. We'll get you up to speed.

And if you're looking for the best, IMHO

mmm...I only went to DFW once. Where are you guys located at Dallas?

They are located at Arlington Municipal Airport (GKY). It's not a bad place over all. I have only flown in there once and it consisted of a near miss with a Cessna (non ATP) in the pattern. Ok, so he WAS taking off from the active runway and I was coming in the wrong direction... but he could have at least answered the radio calls we were making

. Anyhow, other then that it seemed pretty good. They just added a MX department there so any squawks should get taken care of pretty quickly. I'm sury some of the guys on here can tell you more about Dallas as they did their training there.

Has anyone train at ATL location? How's apartment? used to live all over GA, include AYS.

The apartments at most of the locations are nice, or could be nice depending on who lives there. I've seen extremely clean apartments and total disaster areas. As far as location, DALLAS!!!!!

The Atlanta location is a pretty nice place to train at. 2 sims, a maintenance hanger at the field so planes are always available (although they do a good job of always keeping planes available at any location, guess what you'll be doing during your x-country phase?

). FTY is a nice airport to fly out of too. The controllers are always nice (unlike the jackoffs at the tower in Stuart), ATL approach is amazingly friendly and helpful, even considering all the airline traffic they're dealing with, and FTY has 2 nice runways and all the approaches you can need. The apartments are fairly new, gated community, with a nice pool and work out room, and a short drive from the airport (if you go there, learn the shorcut so you don't get stuck on 285 traffic). And not that you'll really have the time, but there's lots to do in Atlanta on your rare day off.

I finished my interview. I am surprised I have already forgotten so many info. too bad I did not get to fly seminoles. The windy city deserve its name(gust to 45kt). I like to drive to a little china town on the other side of 285 near buford highway.

The windy city is not named for its weather. It got that name many years ago from the number of politicians....
