Interview Attire

I gotta ask....what's wrong with a black suit at interviews?? I've seen many applicants wearing black. IMO it looks better than navy. Navy kind of looks industrial.

Black works well at weddings and fancy restaurants but not so well in the business world. I would suggest going no darker than charcoal for an interview suit. I agree with you though that blue is not very appealing either. Seems very 80s-like in my opinion, and limits your tie options.
