Ive been reading posts on Jetcareers for a while now....and I was trying to make a decision which flight school to attend......Falcon Aviation is my choice for a flight school.....Im from the Bahamas and I was wondering from someone who has attended the school or is attending....could tell me if they offer J-1 visas or M-1 I would hopefully like to instruct when im finish the training.....this would be a great help thanks again

Mike or someone should reply to you soon. But if not, I would advise making a call up there to get a quick answer.

If you do that, post the answer on here since I am sure someone else has the same question and is curious about the answer.

On another note. Here are some of my observations from flying out of the main "campus" in Peachtree City. There is a substantial International Student base at Falcon (most all Indian at this time on the International side). I don't know that statistic, but I'd bet at least half, if not more, of all flying on a monthly basis is done due to the international program. And from what I seen, they have a very good program in place for the Indian students. I wish they had something that formal for the domestic students, but for the domestic it's run more like a self paced FBO. If they have something pretty formal set up for non-indian international students, that may translate over to a solid program for you. But even if not, I will attest that it's still a good choice as long as you don't have a very short window to complete training since right now delays may be inevitable (but of course, they are working on those issues and by the time you arrive you may be able to do things in half the time it's taking me).

Good luck in what ever you decide. Nowhere is perfect, but I know things could be much worse. And the folks at Falcon are very fair and will be as accommodating as possible with the resources they have. So hope they meet your training requirements since if you choose Falcon I think you'll be satisfied with your choice of school. And I really enjoy flying the Diamond Aircraft over Cessna (I can't compare to Piper since I have no experience in those, even though they have a handful of them in the fleet).

Good luck to you!

Really starting to get a little ticked off at the lack of inconsiderateness/thoughtlessness at FFC pilots/management. Have had, 4x's in the last month, to wait at least 30 min. and once over 1+15 for aircraft to return with the previous student/instructor with nothing done to remedy of said to the offendeing party.

My son is a High School student who flies three times a week after school from 4-6. He has extremely limited hours with schoolwork, etc. and every time aircraft do not come back it cuts into HIS time and limits the time HE can fly ('cause we need to be back for the next person).

Rant over.
