Our employees contributions impact the lives of passengers on a daily basis.</p><p>ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES</p><p> </p><p>Duties shall include, but are not limited to the following:</p><p> </p><p>· Assist the Director of System/Operations Planning and Dispatch with special projects</p><p>· Conduct SOCC related studies</p><p>· Assist with auditing procedures within Dispatch, Operations Planning, System Planning and System Control departments</p><p>· Prepare reports and analysis for Director of System/Operations Planning and Dispatch</p><p>· Receive, compile, and analyze operations related reports</p><p>· Assist Dispatch, System Control, System Planning, and Operations Planning with daily activities in fast-paced, high volume operation</p><p>· Work closely with department Managers on each missions progress from planning stage through execution stage</p><p>· Participate in daily morning Operations meeting</p><p>· Assist Dispatch with Flight Following</p><p>· Assist Dispatch with Weather Monitoring</p><p>· Assist Dispatch with Basic Flight Planning</p><p>· Assist Mission Planning with over flight application process</p><p>· Assist Mission Planning with Basic Flight Planning process working in the Flight Plan Request System</p><p> </p></div><div><span>Requirements</span><p> </p><p>QUALIFICATIONS<br /><br />• Currently enrolled as a full-time student at a university, college, or technical school<br />• Possess broad general aviation education<br />• Possess ability for clear expression in writing<br /><br /><br />• Computer literacy, proficient in Microsoft Office<br />• Organizational ability<br />• Capability to work independently (at times under pressure)<br />• Good analytical skills<br />• Proficient verbal, written, and presentation communication skills<br />• Self-motivated and able to work with minimal supervision<br />• Must have good interpersonal skills and ability to work both independently and as a member of a team<br />• Be worthy of commanding respect among peers and management officials<br />• Able to provide own housing and transportation during employment<br />• Must be able to pass a 10-year Background/Criminal check and pre-employment drug screen<br /><br />EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE<br /><br />• Currently enrolled full-time student at a university, college, or technical college<br />• Possess a minimum GPA of 3.0<br />• Preferred knowledge that would be considered helpful:<br />o Declared major or minor in aviation or aerospace<br />o Airline Operations, Airports, and/or ATC Systems<br />o Terminal and/or Enroute Charts<br />o Meteorology, Aviation weather<br /><br /><br />PHYSICAL ACTIVITY<br /><br />• Stand – 5<br />• Walk – 5<br />• Sit – 90<br />• Lift up to 35 lbs<br /><br /><br />MENTAL CAPABILITY REQUIREMENTS<br /><br />• Ability to handle numerous activities at once and complete in a timely manner<br /><br />• Work with limited supervision and possess an impeccable attention to detail, excellent customer service and organizational skills required<br />• Must be willing to work in a time-sensitive environment and effectively handle stress associated with meeting deadlines, or managing unexpected change<br />• Able to process information quickly and react in a positive manner during unexpected and/or serious situations<br />• Able to work in a culturally diverse atmosphere and interact professionally<br />• Able to understand, remember, and apply oral and/or written instructions or other information<br /><br /><span> </span></p></div>
