Interesting Probes on A380

I have seen them next to 74s in Singapore, and Qantas A380s lined up in Heathrow. They are huge, but they look short. It looks as if Airbus went conservative with length, knowing that they could stretch it and sell more of another model later on.

The 74 is a huge aircraft.
I don't know if we'll see a stretched version, maybe for Asian markets ? Not sure there's a market for that in Europe... And since no US company has ordered any (other than IFLC), I guess there's no market there either !

It's incredible. Makes a 777 look like an A319. It's THAT big.

Funny, though, it doesn't look that long. We watched AF 007 "Super" go by a 777-300, and it was noticeably shorter. So was it's takeoff run.

The landing/taxi lights are quite bright. Thank you, 007 Super! Down Here! :hiya:
