Interesting? NO Cryptocurrency discussions?

got any “research” that isnt a youtube video?

Rhetorical question.

. . .but of course. It's called "trust but verify."

Right now, we're in the "mushroom management" phase of this "transition."

Social media is the quick tool for receiving data. Digging deeper, one can corroborate any social or main stream media information.
Quite a few "tools" out there for reference. Beats going to the library.

It's wild that you'd like a legitimate crypto discussion and you immediately start pushing XRP. The token with some of the worst tokenomics of any ALT coins.

Source your perception, please? It's telling how you went there so quickly given the fact you probably know it's not a token but a utility for banks and institutional investors. . .not retail. Deflection, distraction, obfuscation, perhaps?

Another quick question. . .do you have any idea who "Satoshi" might be?

Assist me, please? What conclusion am I to draw from the chart?

It's the total market cap divided by daily active addresses. The premise being that there are very few active users and an extremely high market cap. This token is overvalued and has little to no use case. It also has terrible debasement 18% per year inflation where tokens are dumped on the market by Ripple.

Institutions will not touch XRP. It's the last dying gasp of a dinosaur coin that has zero use case. 12.5 million market cap per user. No one uses it and it is insanely overvalued.

Crypto and blockchain is an amazing technology and worth of discussion. I just can not understand why you're starting a discussion about that only to shill XRP. This is why crypto never gains a foothold on legitimacy.

Thank you. I understand your conventional "marketcap" mindset and how it's defined.

My analogy relates more to the calculus behind how we were charged for phone calls both local and long distance, cell phone and SATCOM data usage, etc. We use to pay by the minute. We've evolved whereby telecom companies are making money based upon bandwidth. Utility has value. That "value" is subjective.

For me, I plan to purchase no NFTs in the near future. No Air Jordans. No Gucci. Walmart is still my go to. . .

I've still not been to a Cracker Barrel.

social media serves you dog eggs because you engage with what you want to hear
That's not an absolute, is it? I'm trying to stay on topic with being subjected to ad hominem attacks.

Any cryptocurrency points you wish to make from a no social media outlet?

🤔🤔🤔 Me thinks I've opened up a Pandora's Box. Pandora papers? Anyone remember?

Centralized/decentralized finance. CBDCs, stablecoins? Oh oh.

Crapola. . .I'm trying to think of verbiage to project onto Clint. Nothing witty comes to mind.

Let me reflect for a moment. . . here we go. . .let me pause before I Bi-ach slap this young fella. :bounce:

I was testing it. Does it pass the scrutiny?

@derg No sir, I'm not revising Michael Douglas and his role in the movie "FALLING DOWN."

what is the argument for xrp holding value? beef has made some points already. is the whole use case trying to replace swift? where does an individual investor find value in that?

Excellent question. I'm sure there are ample amounts of supported data/evidence to reinforce a FACTS over FEELINGS conclusion.

If the facts support a positive feeling, there's "value."

you're really not adding much to a discussion beyond youtube slag.

Yeah I think a big turnoff to crypto (at least long ago for me), was that it's always being peddled by like your weird friend who talks about it in hushed tones, and acts like it is a conspiracy that people aren't taking it seriously. This isn't an attack on you, just that the perception was laid long ago. Obviously people did start taking bitcoin semi seriously as an investment vehicle. But I have yet to see it take off as a real tangible every-day currency, outside places like I dunno, onlyfans/online gaming/other niche places.

I've two questio?ns to respond to your post.

1. Why should it matter to me?
2. Who am I to even wish to contradict you?

I'll define how you wish to interpret "slag" later. How much more "value" do you wish for me to offer other than continuing this thread <remember this is a "retirement planning" thread? Posting for posterity sake? A record? How should I pick up the pace?

Three dimension chess vice tik tak toe. Perspective over perception, my brother.

The thing I don't get about crypto bros is most of the time with trading/investing you're trying to find an edge. You're not trying to win people over. Crypto bros and penny stock pumpers have big come see what's in my van energy.

It’s not a currency it’s a store of value. There will only ever be 21 million BTC. It’s the opposite of dollars which can be debased infinitely.
