This past weekend i passed my checkride and am now and instrument rated private pilot!

I am now one step closer and can't wait to start building my time up. need 110 more hours for that magical 250.

Congrats on the rating! What was your check ride like? I have mine coming up in a few weeks. Better nerves then on your PPL?

The first thing that you will notice is that once you get your IR, you never seem to have to fly on a day where you can get in the clouds. haha

thanks guys. I have already gotten to use it. went up with another student yesterday in some "beautiful overcast" started at 700 all the way up to about 2200-2300. There's nothing like breaking out through the clouds at 700 feet to find a big ole' runway right in front of you.

heading out to the airport now.. gonna find some more clouds to fly through. thanks again everyone.
