I am happy to say that I knocked out my Instrument ride today. I flew STS-SAC-STS. ILS2 and VOR2 into SAC with the RNAV14 into STS. It was a fun ride, and having to fly in IMC during a checkride made it even better. Then I got to use that wet piece of paper to file IFR to get back to HWD. Steve Benedict was a wonderful DPE and a pleasure to fly with. Now I have 30 days off before I start the commercial-multi program at ATP. I need a beer!!

Congrats man! That is awesome. I did my Instrument, and Commercial rides in SAC. I know that exact approach. Will you be doing ATP at SAC? If so, you will enjoy it there. Great facility.
 
Congrats! I am glad you made it the first time. There was a misunderstanding about what I was supposed to do on mine and I got to redo part of a holding pattern before I passed.
