Instruction in CH2000 Alarus

Hey, FrascaFlyer chimed in!! Haha! They're all breaking the silence.

Adam's laughing so hard now that he doesn't have to get into the airplane to fly anymore. I even heard a student say how much easier it is to operate the Seminole than the Alarus!

As difficult as the Alarus is, 282 is by far the Weakest Link. Goodbye.
 
What are you guys talking about. The Alarus is the best airplane I've ever seen. As a matter of fact, anyone that is interested in purchasing one, should feel free to buy all of ours.
 
It's not a training aircraft, its a kit plane. They'll probably (hopefully) use it for target practice.

I read that link and thought about how they'd call an airstrike and all the men are running to the ramp and two minutes later all your hear amidst movie-type battle sirens is the belching, coughing, screaming noises of the Alarus Air Force trying to start their Alarii and Iraqi air force mechanics riding out to the fleet with tricycles carrying batteries!

If the thing overheats climbing out of Riverside on a cool morning at 4:00AM and I have to get a block altitude from SoCal to "step climb" and let it cool, I can't even imagine how the thing would get off of the runway when it's 120 degrees in Iraq.

Target practice is right.

Iraqi mechanics on tricycles? Really now that's just ridiculous. You can't ride a tricycle in the sand, they'd bring the batteries out on mule carts. :D
 
Pretty funny stuff eh?

You can imagine the sense of isolation when myself and another pilot that works with me saw the picture and began laughing out loud (he actually logged a couple CH2000 hours during his PPL), and everyone else in the weather cell were looking at us as if we were special. . .sigh.
 
ROFL!!! That pic is hiliarious! Who would have thought of a camoflaged Alarus!?

Nick, I can totally see what you're talking about. Maybe they'll use it for capital punishment. Anyone who breaks the law will get 6 hours in the Alarus with the doors closed. :)
 
Want to mention that I just finished reading this entire thread (for the 4th time) for no reason other than entertainment. This is some seriously funny material. Isn't there a humor section in AOPA Pilot magazine that we could contribute this to?
