Instructing in college

Did anyone here get all their ratings first, then instruct while in college?

I was wondering how that worked out?

I have one year of community college and currently finishing up my Private Pilots License, but I’m not sure what I want to major in. I thought it was going to be business but I have really lost interest in that, so I’m really not sure at all what I want to major in. I thought maybe I should go to a flight academy and get all the ratings and think about what to major in while flying. At the end of the day its going to cost me the same amount of money, right?? And I could earn a buck while in school.

I got all of my ratings in the first two years of college, then instructed for the last year and a half. Worked out pretty good

Thats what Im planning on doing. I hope it works out. I get my privates at 17, go right into my instrument and CFI then instruct through college and get a CFII. after college I'll get add on ratings. one problem, money.

But yeah, thats something that I'd like to do my senior year of college, but I said I was going to get my PPL by the end of my senior year of HS and here I am now getting ready to take my 2nd lesson...

Thats what Im aiming for, jounior or senior year, when I am 17. Im starting soon as Ive said.

I figured i'm still in comunity college, so im not really tied to a major or anything. I can get the ratings while I figure it out. The money on training is gonna be spent eventually anyhow, and its not like its gonna get cheaper with time.
