If it makes you feel better, I've seen something like that twice. Once was in NJ near Maguire AFB, and once in NM near Clovis AFB. First time I wasn't sure what I saw but thought is was most likely helos of some kind. Second time I'm convinced it's some type of military thing.

Yeah, my inclination is to believe it's something military, but I just can't figure out what flies at around 5k feet in complete silence with no standard lighting over a highly populated area.

I'd still sell one or two carriers and refund the GI program. Leftover money can goto a pizza party for all GI's.
