Initial CFI Ride

Early Tomorrow morning. Portland FISDO. Been preparing for nearly 2 years, why you ask. I hadn't been in a cockpit for 17 years. Lot's had changed, most knowledge lost. Hence the two years. I feel ready.

ANY LAST MINUTE ADVICE???

If you get stuck, wave your two fingers near the DPE's face and say, "These are not the droids you're looking for."

oh, and note the Yoda sig below.

I took my initial ride back in May and I was as nervous as can be. When I stepped into the examiners office I looked him right in the eye and said "I'm not going to lie, I'm nervous as heck right now." That seemed to break the tention a lot. Biggest advice, just be yourself and if you don't remember something, tell him or her you don't know but you know where to look it up. They realize you're not going to know everything, but just be honest with them. If you mess up a maneuver, let them know what you did wrong and how to fix it. Good luck and let us know how you did.
