Info asked to the FAA in Oklahoma City

I was just wondering if you called the office in Oklahoma City and spoke to a doc
to just ask what the info you needed to give for something that has not been done or may not be done and they take notes, how does that effect you? I do not need to do anything now or in the future due to ifo from the doc. I am just wondering what they do with notes, and when i get my next medical if it effects it at all.

When you talk to them, they want your social security number, an MID number or a PI number. They latter 2 are assigned by the FAA to flight physicals or case files. All notes related to these files are in the computer for review by anyone within the agency who looks at the file. If your medical has an entry that raises questions, they will look at the file. They may even flag the file so no matter what is on the 8500-8, the file is reviewed.

You are better off asking someone like me who is an advocate for pilots.

Well, i just asked basic questions to the doc on the phone. I did not specify i was doing anything at the time or what i was going to do at all. I just was asking what i would have to do as far as info to them if i did. My main thing would be when you got a new medical if there was anything to expect from them at the time. I should have just kept it to myself at the time. I just do not want to get a letter from them about me asking a couple of questions to something that never happened.
