Industry-Wide Pay Increases -- What's the Possibility?

Yep there’s people in classes right now. 6 months at Envoy… no previous dx experience. There’s also AA internals with 0 dx experience in classes. But they did routing and load planning in the IOC at least. The company was discussing recently how they need to flow in more dxers from PSA and Piedmont as well though. They see the huge imbalance between how many they hire from Envoy vs the other two.

They should factor in a larger share of experienced dispatchers from other airlines, too.

I agree on OAL dxers. I understand Envoy having the same software, just seems extra strange AA doesn’t hire that many from PSA or especially Piedmont which are also wholly owned by AA. I myself didn’t come from any of these shops, so I’d love to see more OAL. You can always teach some great talent out there the software, and these will be the people you work alongside the next 20-30 years. I know folks with 1-5 years dx experience, great personalities, hard workers, team players, dependable and overall someone you’d want as a wingman, that got put into the pool. Or worse did not even get interviews. But, the legacies are going to do what the legacies want.

That being said, with all the hiring going on from every major… Be prepared for when they hire again, study, don’t give up, don’t burn bridges, have somewhat of a likable personality, and hopefully whichever legacy you want will bring you on no matter where you’re coming from.

UA paying 200k...

What's the other Majors TAs looking like? They getting 200k too?

Is this factoring in bonuses or other benefits? I’ve seen 200k tossed around from other places but it’s more like base pay + premiums + vacation:bounce:

At B6 we can sell our PTO every month and we get 9 weeks of PTO at top out so yeah, factor in all of that we can get close to 200k too if you try hard lol

Their very top of scale, including longevity, is just short of 200k. That's just base salary + license premium (from what I've seen). Adding in vacation doesn't actually increase your salary, unless you are looking for OT opportunities.
