What can brown do for you?
I just started flying lately....

I'm looking to not pay an arm of leg for a headset, just want something comfy that has ANR. Let me know what you guys have.... second have is fine.

As far as the price, I'd suggest you check eBay (search David Clark 13.4), and look at the completed sales to see what similar ones are selling for. A quick glance looks like $180 to $220, shipped, is in the ballpark, but you should spend a little time, look them over closely, and compare similar quality headsets.

As far as that model of headset, I've got a pair of 13.4 that I really like. I keep it as a back-up set. I sold a set of ANR David Clark 13X a few months back and they were the best headset for piston aircraft as far as I was concerned. The Bose were excellent as well, but I didn't like the price or the perceived "sturdiness". I just want to make sure that you understand that the 13.4 is not an Active Noise Reduction headset since that is what your original post requested, O.K.?
