In cockpit cameras..Anybody done it?

And because Im trying to drag the angry 121 guys out of the Airline Pilot forum section neighborhood for a bit........show them that there are indeed other parts of JC. :)

I just started doing Air Tours on the weekend for fun and a little extra cash. Nothing better than taking little kids up for their first flight ever. Most fun flying I ever did for pay. I thought we should have a camera in the cockpit to capture it. Yep, a lot more to it than just 121.

There should be cameras installed on all Part 121 cockpits and recording the flights from pushback to block-in, in the interest of safety.

:pop:

Lets not forget those BP Helos and all EMS flights. Those things come outta the sky like man hole covers. :)

Just leave us part 91 guys alone. Nothing to see here, move along.

I looking more for a shot from the glareshield back towards the occupants. Probably going to be the Concour +. Thanks for all the suggestions.

I'm also looking at probably getting a Contour GPS later down the road when the Pitts gets closer to flying. If you have the GPS version or are able to get that information from a external source such as a Garmin product, you can overlay gauges of data such as the airspeed, altitude, etc. etc., with this software called "Dashware"

Just giving you some ideas. They got some neat stuff out there.
