In Anchorage for the day...what to do?

It's 1445 local and we're trying to figure out what to do. There are three of us and we leave in the morning. Help!

Moose Tooth Pub and Pizzeria, has a nice selection of beers and tasty pizza if you are looking for a dinner spot.

Sounds good. We're renting a car and driving down to Girdwood. We tried to find a seaplane ride but they were a little pricey.

Negative...we were a "Convoy" to Elmendorf.


We ended up going down to Girdwood and checked out the Alyeska resort. Absolutely gorgeous drive. Way better than north Texas....

In ANC, Aladdin's for amazing Arabic food; taproot is good for live music; Crush at the entrance to the mall is excellent for lunch, and of course, SnowCity for breakfast
