I passed my 135 checkride with Bemidji Aviation today. I will be flying UPS cargo in the Beechcraft Queenair. We need more pilots too! If anyone has part 135 mins and wants to be based in Minnesota or Denver let me know. Bemidji Aviation also flies the Beech 99 and Metroliners.

Pay is about 45K a year. The pilots fly to MSP at night and then back to the outstation in the morning. Usually you have the day free. The company has a house near the airport where all the pilots sleep. Some of the Denver routes start very early but you can stay at your own place each night.

How was the ground school? Also how was the checkride? Did they prepare you well enough for it?

Chief pilot is a nice guy. The checkride was difficult but fair. Most people seem to need 7 to 15 hours to get ready for the checkride.

I believe that, pilots are unable to be happy so. Because of cold walkarounds, oil on ground, bad weather, and such. And it's important for scope, and pay, and schedules.
