I'll just put this right here...... (awac hiring)

I would be extremely shocked if AWAC ALPA did not push to get Mesa, PDT, and PSA pilots on first... And if they do not, I'd be extrememly dissapointed with them.....

AWAC has generally done this in the past. ACA/Indy guys run amuck. Heck, there are even some ATA guys.

We've got FOs here that are pondering the lateral jump. After being on reserve and beaten down for a year and a half on poverty wages, I'd consider it, too.

AWAC is a good company, glad to see they might be hiring again soon. I commute on AWAC quite a bit out of PHL and every single one of those pilot has been incredibly friendly (despite my evil RW badge).

Why not hire the applicant best suited for the job? It maybe the regional guy or the 2000/1000 guy. That's what interviews reveal.

This was already assumed... Given the fact they both are suited I'd go with the one with experience in the 121 world and more over the aircraft we fly.

If there was even a chance to get on with AWAC I'd drop this sinking ship that is the PSA furlough list and be there in a heart beat.... Too bad so would 3000 other people.

I once had a student I wouldn't signoff for an ATP checkride despite him having around 2500/500.

You don't need a sign off for an ATP checkride.
