That sort of takeoff from what I understand is more to so with procedural differences between soviet SOP s and western ones. I believe we are more accustomed to seeing and experience your typical western takeoff procedure which involves a climb out at V2+10kts to 1000-1500feet (noise abatement manouver). Soviet procedures usually call for an immediate acceleration to climb speed the moment the a/c is airborne resulting in a shallower takeoff.
