IFR study materials..

Yea I'd say the Jepp is the best. It's pretty throrough and easy to read for the average textbook. Not the cheapest of the books but definitely the best.

Instrument Flying handbook and Instrument Porcedures handbook.

Both are FAA pubs and can bought or downloaded from the FAA website.

ASA Oral Exam guide. I can let you borrow all kinds of stuff if you want to drive up to GEG. I think I have a bunch of King tapes. Won't be home for a while, though.

I'll second that - the FAA pubs are excellent.

Third on that, if you know the information in those two books then you are set; not to mention they are MUCH cheaper than non- FAA publications (which as mentioned are free in PDF format). They are what the PTS is based on.
