If you knew someone about to go to a delta interview...

If anybody has a question about the Delta process send me a PM. I believe we have the best Delta prep available. The entire interview is difficult so spend time studying. Don't rely on rumors or the gouge. If you do the work yourself you will be successful. Good luck to everyone.

Exactly! If you're gonna be sitting to the right of me, I want the best prepaed individual, not someone who did the minimum to squeak by. Like me. Your job is to keep me out of trouble!

I highly recommend Cage Consulting. I did two interviews and received the go ahead on both. A buddy of mine with a very similar background didn't and got the TBNT.

If I'm on your plane, and you're flying me home for Christmas. I want the best speller upfront!

Here's what I did:

1. Immediately signed up for Emerald Coast

2. Called every contact I knew and built up a strong nest of gouge.

3. Reviewed gouge questions (not answers as many had wrong answers)

4. Gathered reference materials to find answers to questions I didn't know.

5. Play Luminosity.com couple times a week.

6. Buy a nice suit if you don't have one. Look good to play good as they say in sports

7. Don't focus too much on written test. Very few people fail that portion. Overwhelming majority of hiccups happen on the panel. Interview prep then practice practice practice. Comedians don't sound so natural by jumping on stage cold turkey.

Good luck!

All of this is spot on.

If there is one thing I cannot stress enough to folks.. Study for the cog. I feel a lot of people place less emphasis on this due to being more worried about the knowledge test. The cog definitely eliminates a lot of folks, but with a little bit of prep you can be prepared for it .

As far as ECC I highly recommend them. In addition to the seminar , I used their Audio prep files which were priceless. I could listen to those working out , in the car, on a layover etc.

I've heard great things about Aero crew Solutions as well.

Lastly.. Tell your friend to be themselves. They are looking to get to know the person and how they make decisions and interact in a crew environment. They want to hire everyone.. It's up to the individual to put the work into it.

I hear as long as it fits and looks professional it doesn't matter the color.

Although I suppose those are really more tuxedo than suit.

What? Nobody has yet mentioned applying to Endeavor so you can go to the interview and "practice" taking the Delta cog and JKTs before the Delta interview??

<I heard that one on APC....>

I have heard of people doing that and for other airlines that have the Delta testing too...

Endeavor is no longer giving out the Delta tests, just a simple HR interview with some tech stuff thrown in.

When I interviewed at DAL pretty much everyone wore the navy suit/red tie, but I know plenty who did not. I wore a red tie because it seems to reflect Delta's color (same reason I would wear a blue tie to a United interview), and it looks good with a navy suit.

If you make it to day 2 most folks came with charcoal, black, etc.... A little more color in the ties too.
