What I would want would depend on what I would want it for. Extra 300 is a fav of mine, but I have just as much fun in a decathlon. J-3 with big ol' tundra tires would be faboosh, but lately I'm partial to an AT-6...and don't she purr....

So many planes I have yet to fly....such a difficult decision. I'm working on the powerball theory for retirement...when I win, I'll return to this thread & buy all my fav JC'ers their top choice. (somebody's got to win, may as well be me :D)
 
I'd want an Antonov AN-2 for just cruising around with no particular place to go, and a VC-10 for the traveling with a group of people.

Why burn only 2x the amount of fuel and MX if you can burn 4x?
 
Anyone who votes for a kerosene burning aluminum tube needs to turn in their pilot certificate AND their man card imeadiately.

Real airplanes have round engines, no computers, and are at least 40 years old. Having deactivated machine guns and requireing an LOA helps a lot.

Whats up with all these mono wings? And FWIW, the Edge 540 and MX2 are the best monowing aircraft on the market right now.

Aerobatics/My love- Chisten Eagle I "Super Eagle" with the IO-540 in the front.

yeah I voted for somerthing else because I want a Starfury or some other space fighter. made even something that is hyperspace capable.

You can't get much rounder than a turbine..... and there are no computers on the mighty orion, and are over 40 years old....

Not concerned with best :) I have wanted an extra since I was 10, I own 3 of them for RC models. Never was a fan of the Edge and can't picture the MX2 off the top of my head. Stop harpin on my plan punk you choose yours!!!
