Oh well. Worrying about what everyone else is doing will only get you an ulcer. I doubt he has a ton of business anyway.

But then, this isn't much different from airlines and their "$9 fares! Anyone can enjoy and afford airline flying!!"

Same bar lowering, different part of the industry. Only thing is, in the airlines it's accepted; here it's not.

Well you can afford it. Enjoying it? That's a whole different matter.

I made a lot of dough from former students of a CFI that attempted something similar at RHV during my flight instructor days.

His business fizzled because he didn't factor in the cost of maintaining his airplane, cut too many corners and then applied at my school. Seemed like the type of guy that would backstab you to get ahead, and since we already had one of those that worked there, he didn't get the job.
