idle landing

haha... I think there needs to be an internet rule on "when you call someone out for grammar, you need to 100% check your post or else you're fair game" :)

Thanks for playing along though, WCP :D

Actually, I can bet they did land at idle. Jets land at idle all the time. You are thinking they wouldn't land at cutoff. That said, I would bet they were talking about autoland.

hold on to this: Tu eres un singao maricon, tu me cago en tu madre :)

The funny thing is that this phrase is constructed poorly also.
Anyways 35000fts, I think that insulting using those words wasn't cool at all.
If English is not your first lenguage, then explain it. English is not my first lenguage and I'm sure that is obvious for a lot of people in the forums every time I write something. A lot of them know about this, so nobody gives me heat for this reason.
When I started to post in JC, I had a couple of people, pointing mistakes ( which I welcome when they're done in a constructive manner, you learn from them) in a little sarcastic way, after I explained the above to them, everything was clear, and I have never been harassed for it.

when you talk about someone's mother - most of the time your speaking in offensive tongues and that's not what we consider too "cool"...

please be a bit more professional, esp if your new.. get the lay of the land and then let your true self pop out.. but not before then...cuz otherwise the regulars here will jump all over you and then we'll have to put you on "JC watchlist" - not a very fun place to be!

just a heads up! :)

35000fts - let me call you out publically.

You're new, this isn't that type of a website. If you want to incite and attempt to flame, try airliners.net or flightinfo.com.

We're more than happy to welcome new members, but you're more or less in my 'virtual living room' so have fun, enjoy yourself, but keep the feet off the coffee table and don't ruin new registrations for gmail users.

Wow, dude. I'll put it in Spanish for ya, since it seems that English is your second language (and maricon, wow, haven't heard that in a long time!)

JetCareers no es como los otros lugares del internet. Sea maduro. Sea profesionale.

Edit: I can't wait for Kingairer's spanish post.

Well. I'm sry if I didn't express myself the way I wanted but I had to admit WindyCityPilot just pissed me off with his comment. Anyways english is not my second language in fact my 4 one. I'm new in this site actually living in Canada.... born in Cuba.. and like almost everybody here wanting to be a pilot. So next time don't be so rude with me... if you don't get it the first time i posted .. asked me to posted again :p.. just kidding.

See you guys around:rawk:

P.S se dice sea "profesional" no profesionale :P

Doug, you are so restrained, so nice, so polite! I am impressed.

I'd be more along the lines of don't let the door hit you in the ass on the way out!

That's probably why I don't run a web site...hell I don't even run this house! Or the rollin' condo when Mz B is on board! All those years in aviation when I yearned to be in the left seat, to be the Aircraft Commander, to be the Captain. To be in charge...to make the final decisions...to not be overridden! Somehow it doesn't seem to work that way when she's in the right seat of the Dutchess!

On a more somber note, I don't know if you ever met him, but Delta Air Lines Captain Pre Ball died. 99 years old. Last of the truly Great Leaders in the ranks of Delta Air Lines pilots.

You're right! I should have put the smiley face in my post so it wasn't taken seriously. Mia culpa or however the saying goes. El Myo mistakeo.:)
Smiley face or not smiley face, thats a no go in my book.

I'm with ROFCBIC on this one. Don't let the door hit you on the way out.

My Spanish is a bit rusty, but I completely understand what he was trying to say. BTW I dont think Spanish is his first language either. What a cowardly and dirty/nasty way to respond to someone. Even if you don't like what they said.

What a horses A$$!!!

Sorry Doug. I don't have patience for people like that.

That line always reminds me of a little neighborhood bar that I used to frequent way, way, way back in the college days. The owner had a little speech he gave every night at closing time, and it started out with: "Hey folks! It's that time again when.....ya don't have to go home but ya can't stay here." <and later in the spiel> "Don't let the screen door hit ya where the good Lord split ya!"

Walden's Tavern in Fenton, Michigan. Babe Walden, proprietor.

(You would think that as many times as I heard that speech given I could remember the whole dang thing, wouldn't you? Might have to do with it being closing time and the associated mental/physical condition at that point in time and it's affect on memory....)
