ID90 or that other thing?

Off to go do Black guy stuff
To anyone at Continental or Expressjet I was wondering how one would go about getting a ticket from EWR-GSO. I've never done ID90 so how do you? PM if you can.

Usually you go to your own airline's pass travel office and purchase the required passes from them. At my airline we can actually do this at the ticket counter of any station, in addition to the pass travel offices in the hubs. You can go to http://www.flyzed.com to check loads, but you need to get a username and password from your airline.

At Skywest you need to order them online from the employee website's Travel Center. I hear its like that at most companies.

Could be for someone else on a ZED fare, but ID90s I believe are employee only.

At Pinnacle, our parents and dependants can travel on other airline agreements using ZED, or ID90/95s depending on the airline. To get my parents on a Hawaiian Airlines flight HNL-SFO (ID95) I called the NWA reservation number and spoke to an agent. She created the ticketing shell and told me how much it would cost. Be sure to check ahead... I waited till the very last minute thinking 5% of the fare wouldn't be much more than a ZED fare. I was WRONG. It turns out 5% of a full-fare Y class ticket on HA HNL-SFO for that day was $178/person.

Anyways, after they were in the NWA system they got a reservation confirmation number. I went down to the NWA ticketing counter in HNL and gave it to the CSA. I paid with a credit card and they printed out the ID95 vouchers.

I then had to go to the Hawaiian ticket counter and get them ticketed and listed as standbys on the flight. Beyond that, they were just regular standbys.

ZED is almost ALWAYS cheaper than even an ID95, so if you have an option for ZED, take it.
Exactly! ZED is always cheaper than ID95's. I use ZED on Eagle or SkyWest between SAN and LAX as a backup, when the Delta SAN flights get iffy.

We're probably going to ZED from PHX to LAS tomorrow evening to finalize some NJC stuff.

Well, cocktails and leisure that evening and then business late morning/afternoon then fly back to PHX.

ZED's been a freaking dream for offline non-revving.

what time you headed to vegas there Mr. Doug? If you're hopping a ride on US let me know, I'll be on the ramp tonight.
