Icon Aircraft

I doubt anyone has flown one, they're not in production yet, I think there's only 2 or 3 actually flying. (I did see one at Oshkosh though, pretty interesting little machine.)
 
I went to the unveiling of the first production aircraft. Overall it seems like a well executed idea. They have plans to open a large facility near Vacaville, CA.
 
I just watched the AoA and Spin Resistance videos on their youtube channel, very interesting indeed!
 
Cool plane, but way overhyped. Is it worth $200K+? I'd rather buy a Cub on floats, an RV8, and still have money left over.

A friend calls them the iCON, saying it's the next Eclipse...great revolutionary failed money-pit.
