So anyone else caught up in the LGA quagmire this evening? Personally, I had a three hour ground stop and didn't return to the hub until about 2am-ish.
I don't know if it was the ground stop that drove me crazy, or the 142 "me"'s onboard.
Ah the joys of a flight from LGA. Its no fun for us here on the ramp having to wait until God knows when for you to get here either....But thats the life huh

Well at least you're there. I remember during 7.5 bringing one of those in about 3 am. I had to deplane down the airstairs and search the concourse for someone who could put the jetway on us. (Ramp guys took off as soon as they parked us.) Took about 15 minutes to find anyone. Definitely one of my most embarrassing moments.
You were lucky at 3 am to find anybody period. I know they have always ran a skeleton midnight ramp team but they are usually painting the spine or sweeping up or taking a nap. And the midnight gate agents, good luck. There are 3 of them now and I usually see one in a van parked somewhere ina dark corner with the seat leaned way way back.

Yeah but it was an IROPs deal. So should have had people on overtime. Memories.
Well it depends on if the supv had pissed off the ramp guys earlier in the day. Some will stay no matter what until they get pissed off with management and say screw it I am going home. Many supv's have cut there own throats by doing that and then want someone to stay and help knowing he cant make them. It affect the customers but when you are mad you forget about them
