"Ice Pilots" New Reality TV Show

Well I guess it wasn't any of the guys from Buffalo's fault about the gear up. Still, as a CFI, I bet I know how Arnie and Joel feel seeing their trainees mess up.

I don't see why it should be Joe's responsibility to get another 215 to Turkey to stand in for the broken one. Turkish pilots messed up, right?

That's the fun you get to deal with in business ventures with countries like Turkey. :dunno: That said, I cringed when they were dragging it down the runway....poor airplane!

The other pilot Buffalo hired was in the plane giving training. Sooo, there is some fault there I would think..:dunno:

Who was the instructor in the plane, Greg Pool (sp)?

I bet Dave Fury was furious! :laff:

Joe had it right... how did they not hear the horn?

Yeah I am not clear on whether or not the other Buffalo pilot was in the plane. It seems ominous that there was ZERO footage of him after that event. He probably got a lawyer to remove him from any of that occurring in exchange for letting them keep the rest of his trip in the show. I am guessing anyway.

i think it was only turkish pilots on board, so i am not sure why Joe feels he needs to supply another plane
 
Well if the contract is for the airplanes and the training, having one airplane down for an extended period may put that in jeopardy.

Yeah I gotta think so. He flew the thing to the coast, why would'nt he have been in it? Why would'nt the show have been VERY clear that it was ONLY Turkish pilots if he was not on board? Why did the dude dissappear completely from that moment forward? Why did Joe feel obligated to send another water bomber?

All fingers point to him being on board.
