Ice Bridging

I love you.

No Homo. Well....Maybe a little bit. How was the sleepy time in the ULD?

Delicious.

Nice mood lighting, a couple of relaxing podcasts and no oversized posterior poking through the curtain. Ahh yes.

Starting in Feb, I have the scary potential of flying a bus full of Self Loading Freight.

I am disappoint.

It's not bad. Kind of like driving cattle. A little patience and a steady pimp grip will keep it tolerable.

Yeah, but no alternative flight attire: have to ask permission to; get a drink, eat, go to the head: can't cuss too loud: probably will have to wear pants and shoes.

After 1 and 1/2 winters of flying across the Washington cascades in a C402, I have found that putting in some time on the ground has saved my rear end in the air. At the beginning of the winter I would come in to work 1 time about 3 hours early and spend some time preping the boots. 1st a stripper, then a sealer, then finish up with a few coats of ice-ex. I know that some people think that it is a waist of time, but in my experience it has helped so much. When you have greased up boots, the ice comes of so much better! And when you have greased boots, you want to let it build up, because almost all of the ice will come off on your first pop, but then each use after, it doesn't work as well.
