IAD Crash Pad

Hey everyone,

I just finished IOE and I'm looking for a crash pad up in IAD. I won't have a car up there, so preferably, I'd like a place close to the airport, or close to some transportation. I don't know the area up there, aside from a little searching online, so I'm not sure where the best location would be for a quick commute, nice area, cost of living, etc.

Any input is greatly appreciated!

Congratulations on finishing IOE! I am guessing ExpressJet? If so, check in the crew lounge; I think there is a book with information regarding several local places---crashpads and extended-stay hotels.

I have a crashpad near IAD. It's available January 1st, 2013. Are you still looking for a place to live?
I'm offering a room with a private full bath and an adjoining suite. It's about 450sq ft and very private - on your own level (the main level). Hi-speed wi-fi, cable, 42" LCD tv, mini-fridge, microwave, & private entrance. Optional access to fitness club/tennis/pool.
Use of my 2 kayaks is included - living on a lake has its perks!
(I have a cat, but he's not allowed on the main level - just in case anyone's got a cat allergy...)
For full-time roomers, the room/suite is $750/mo. However, if you've got someone you'd like to hot-sheet with, I'm happy to work with you on that. TH is located in Ashburn Village, just 10 minutes (about 10 mi) from Dulles airport. Close to shopping, freeway, great bike paths, & lots of historic sites.
