IACRA as only means of applying for checkride?

He was an idiot;

Like me.

He has probably spent 50 years learning and working out the bugs in the paper system, and having just finally found a 'comfort zone' with the idiot paperwork, now he has to start all over again in a new system fulla bugs.

You're young. Enjoy. Your time will come.

Actually no. . .yes, I'm young, but I'm 5 years older than he is. I'm a trendy kinda person and the word around the area confirms my perception. He has "issues" not yet resolved. . .if they ever become resolved. He'll get over it, and yes. . .my time will come.

IACRA is great.. it just takes time getting use to. Kansas City will be requried as of 2008 to use Iacra everytime. I think parts of Kansas already have to.

I saw someone say you have to take something from IACRA to the FSDO to get a temp certificate......uh, why????? IACRA prints out a temp certificate for you.

the only problem I have seen is that the FAA is way behind on the processing. IACRA is supposed to have a week to two week turn around on getting out the certificates from the time they are submitted. well they are more then a month behind right now.

the more we use it and stop using the paper 8710.. the better it will all get

I am trying to apply for my CFII on IACRA and there is no "Flight Instructor" on the drop down menu. Just Student, sport, recreat, pp, commercial and ATP?

When I click on the help button it shows all the items including "Flight Instructor".

Student Pilot
Sport Pilot
Recreational Pilot
Private Pilot
Commercial Pilot
Airline Transport Pilot
Flight Instructor
Ground Instructor
Authorized Instructor
Flight Instructor Sport Pilot

HOW DO I ADD A INSTRUEMENT RATING TO MY Commercial/CFI?
